Hello! Welcome to what I hope will be a place of inspiration, a place to witness the many, many amazing and good things that happen around us everyday…even when it seems like nothing good is. This site has been created to offer anyone and everyone a place to witness the good will of others and in turn hopefully be inspired to do good themselves, to go the extra mile for a neighbor, to talk to a scared friend. It has been scientifically proven that by not only doing, but by just witnessing acts of kindness and good will, that your body releases a huge surge of feel good hormones such as dopamine and oxytocin, reducing depression, inflammation, and inspiring you to do good by others yourself. It’s a win win, and your body naturally knows how to do it. See a link to Dartmouth study on this topic. In this current time, while we are all isolated, I think it is more important than ever to have a place to go witness these acts. I am hoping that this site along with its posts …that I will strive to get to regularly…. can help serve that purpose. If this site was able to brighten one day, or one moment, then I consider its job well done…but I don’t think that will be the case.

All comments have been turned off due to the potential influx of trolls and others that would try desperately to thwart the attempts of helping or inspiring. This place is and will remain, to the best I can, a place of good juju and inspiration to witness and spread good will.

If you know of any good stories, links, videos, etc, that are acts of random kindness or goodwill that you feel can make an impact, please send them to me @ randomactsofgoodwill@gmail.com, I will review and post. It does not have to be something big, the little things are sometimes the most inspiring.

Thank you for visiting, please share this site with as many as you feel could use it. We can see this through as a global community and I believe we will all be better for it on the other side.
